Each sale type earns a base % of the retail sale price. Optionally, a type can bump to a higher % once the dealer's qualifying volume passes a threshold in the period. Group types together (same Tier Group name) to combine their volume toward one threshold.
| Sale type (must match data) | Base % | Bump threshold $ | Bump % | Tier group | Bump applies to |
|---|
Base % — applied to every sale of this type. Leave the bump fields blank for a flat rate (e.g. On-Lot Used = 10%, no bump).
Bump threshold / Bump % — if the dealer's qualifying volume in this type (or Tier group) exceeds the threshold for the period, the higher % is used. Example: On Lot New, Order, and Build On Site all share tier group new_custom with a $70,000 threshold and 11% bump — once that dealer's combined volume across those three types passes $70k, those sales pay 11% instead of 10%.
Bump applies to — All qualifying sales pays the bump rate on the entire group volume once the threshold is crossed (retroactive). Amount over threshold pays base % up to the threshold and bump % only on the excess.
Cancels reduce qualifying volume and claw back commission at the same effective rate.
Upload your sales file and (optionally) your cancels file. Both should use the same column layout, one row per transaction. Each cancel reclaims a flat 10% of its retail selling price — so map the cancels file's retail selling price to "Sale / retail amount" (not the chargeback column); the tool computes the 10% itself.
